Sooner Park Wesleyan Church, Faith Wesleyan Church, First Wesleyan Church, and Oklahoma Wesleyan University students are hosting a Serve Sunday, October 24, 2021, 9:00 a.m. to noon.

Serve Sunday is a day when the “church has left the building” to serve the community as a practical demonstration of God’s love. The Bible records that Jesus indicated to His followers that a distinctive of a leader is that they will be a servant to others. The Bartlesville area Wesleyans are choosing to leave the church buildings and go into the community to serve.

There will be joint launch worship gathering at 9:00 a.m. at the K-Life building and the many “serve teams” will depart by 9:45 to go serve till noon. Serve locations will be Lighthouse Mission, IGNITE – Adam’s PARC, Agape Mission, The Journey Home, Hopestone, Martha’s Task, Ray of Hope, Community Prayer Walk, K-Life, On the Rock Ministries, Johnstone Park, Sooner Park, The Cottage and a few yet to be determined sites.

You will want to be on the “look out” for these community servants. Watch for blue shirts that read:

VOLONTEER (with “ONE” spelled down the middle)

Wesleyans are volunteering as ONE to love Bville.
