Sexual Assault Forensic Exams – Nowata, Osage, Washington counties – better known as SAFE-NOW – is presenting its “What Were You Wearing?” exhibit in Bartlesville.

You can take a walk through this powerful sexual assault survivor exhibit that displays true stories and replica clothing, of the ones worn by victims at the time of their assault.

Started at the University of Arkansas, this exhibit aims to dispel the myth that clothing choices can cause sexual assault.

The display can be found in the Lyon Gallery of the Bartlesville Community Center, 300 SE Adams Boulevard, now through Oct. 29.

This presentation is on display in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
