The Washington County Sheriff’s Office will host its 7th annual Cops & Rodders Benefit Car Show on Saturday, Oct. 2, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The top 20 cars will receive a $50 cash award. Door prizes will be on hand. There will be a raffle for one of three different firearms, and concessions will be on hand.  All proceeds from concessions go directly to support the WCSO's annual Thanksgiving and Christmas programs for local families in need.

WCSO has been given hundreds of Thanksgiving baskets and tons of presents to children over the past three decades through its Thanksgiving and Christmas programs for local families in need.  Each year the WCSO’s staff works with other organizations, who provide for those in need, to ensure as many as possible are assisted year during these holiday seasons.

WCSO strives to reach more families and children than the previous year and this car show assists the office in reaching that goal.  The Cops & Rodders Car Show has been a hit for the last six years and the WCSO is planning on this year being no different.

Rain or shine, there will be cars, trucks, rat rods, classics, and hot rods on display on the WCSO grounds, 611 SW Adams Boulevard. This is open to the public. Anyone who wants to enter their vehicle can stop by the WCSO’s offices or go online to grab a registration form.
