Man Charged with Drug Trafficking Waives Prelim

A man charged in connection with a large scale drug smuggling operation in Bartlesville appeared at the Washington County Courthouse on Tuesday. Marcus Montana Moore was slated for the preliminary hearing docket, but waived his right for a prelim.
Moore is facing 18 different counts after being arrested in March. He was one of more than 20 co-defendants who were alleged to have been illegally trafficking drugs, including methamphetamine into Bartlesville from out of the area. The Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics had been investigating Moore for several months.
The defendant remains in custody on a $1,000,000 bond. Moore was bound over for trial and will next be seen by a judge for a district court arraignment on October 13.
