Bartlesville Area Museum Kicks off Summer Events

It will be s busy summer with a lots of events with the Bartlesville Area History Museum.
 
Appearing on COMMUNITY CONNECTION on Monday, Dabnew Williams-Chidester announce a fun contest to kick thing off for the whole family: the Finding Frank Scavenger Hunt.
 
Dabneys said," You can beat summer break boredom and challenge your kiddos to learn all about Bartlesville photographer Frank Griggs in this scavenger hunt all around our in-house special exhibit. All kids who participate will receive a fun surprise!"
 
Frank Griggs  BAHM celebrates the life of photographer Frank Griggs with their newest special exhibit: "Bartlesville's History, Griggs's Legacy." Bartlesville’s History, Griggs’s Legacy” will be on display in the Pioneer Gallery. 
 
Williams- Chidester invites all to visit anytime the Museum is open from May 31st to June 30th the participate in this challenge.
 
Next up, it's the Hometown History Book Club Presents: Killers of the Flower Moon.
 
You are invited to attend the very first meeting of the Hometown History Book Club as they read David rann’s bestseller Killers of the Flower Moon. The club will meet at the City Center Pavilion (the corner of Hensley and Cherokee) at 7 PM.

BAHM Summer Lecture Series: Family Box Supper Social is June 22 at 7pm. This will take place in Unity Square for the inaugural event of this Summer Lecture Series. Bring your lawn chairs and picnic blankets and listen to speakers Betty Keim and Kay Little tell about the history of toys and games, Little House on the Prairie, and pioneer schools in Washington Co. 
 
Don’t forget to bring your appetite because what’s a history party without food trucks? Sit back and enjoy learning about local history on a summer night.
