More space was granted to Apple Studios, LLC, in the former Siemens facility in Bartlesville on Wednesday morning.

The Bartlesville Development Authority (BDA) approved to lease an additional 9,800 square feet of manufacturing space to Apple Studios for $3,887 per month beginning on Wednesday, April 28th, and terminating on Saturday, August 28th. An extension option of up to 90 additional days at a per diem rate of $129.57 per day was included in the agreement.

BDA President David Wood said the deal matches the last increase in space that was approved in January. Wood said Apple Studios didn't need the additional space, but the BDA pointed out that the open space was an "uneconomical remainder." He said both sides couldn't be happier and that it helps keep everything right side up in Bartlesville.

The space is being used by Apple Studios to help with their production of a film based off of David Grann's best selling book titled "Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI." The film is being made under the working title of Gray Horse, which is being directed by Martin Scorsese and stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, and Jesse Plemons.
