Nowata County 911 Address Update
Nowata County 911 Trust Authority Chairman Jerome Gnatek provided an update on the county’s 911 addressing at Monday morning’s Nowata County Commissioners meeting. Gnatek says that there has been some confusion differentiating between 911 addresses and physical addresses. Gnatek explains what Nowata County citizens need to know.
To check to see if your address is valid you can type it in at USPS.com. Gnatek encouraged citizens to contact him if they had any issues or have not received notice of a new 911 address.
Gnatek also said R&S Digital, the company who had done the 911 mapping has been bought out buy a company from Texas. He said this should not effect anything on the county’s end as all mapping has been completed.
