Renovations in Progress at BPS Education Service Center

Renovations are taking place at Bartlesville Public School's Education Service Center located at 1100 SW Jennings Avenue.
Bartlesville Superintendent Chuck McCauley said this is taking place because the district needs to relocate its Technology Department from the former Will Rogers Building along Frank Phillips Boulevard. He said Paths to Independence used to rent the building from the district, but PTI has since purchased the building so they can expand, causing BPS to move its Technology Department.
McCauley said they're going to add some square footage to the Education Service Center so they can be efficient. He said they want to get the work done as soon as possible because the transition of servers has to happen during the summer months when classes are not in session.
Rick Scott Construction is doing the work for Bartlesville Public Schools. Superintendent McCauley said they're on schedule to complete the renovations at the Education Service Center before May 2021. He said the district will hopefully make the transition of its servers in June.
