Arvest Foundation Contributes $6,500 to Rogers State
Bartlesville students will have access to scholarship funds at Rogers State University thanks to a $6,500 donation from the Arvest Foundation.
Arvest Bank community and business relations advisor Chris Batchelder presented the check to Steve Valencia, RSU vice president of development.
In a statement, Batchelder said: “It is our pleasure to present this donation on behalf of the Arvest Foundation to Rogers State University to help area students further their educational futures."
RSU offers a variety of bachelor’s and associate degrees to assist students in achieving their academic goals. The mission of RSU is to ensure students develop the skills and knowledge required to achieve professional and personal goals in dynamic local and global communities.
“We are grateful for the continued support of the Arvest Foundation and its commitment to provide critical scholarship assistance to Rogers State University students,” Valencia said. “The Arvest Foundation, along with the bank’s local management, have consistently demonstrated their support for RSU’s presence in Bartlesville.”
The Arvest Foundation seeks to provide funding to grantees who are actively working to create positive change for others. Major areas of focus include: K-12 education, economic development, and enhancing the quality of life throughout the Arvest footprint.
