Pawhuska Holds on to No. 1 Ranking; Hurd Nominated for POTW
Unsurprisingly so, the Pawhuska Huskies retained the top spot in the Tulsa World’s Class A football rankings after a 92-0 win over Fairland. The Huskies are 5-0 and have been ranked No. 1 every week since the first poll of the preseason
Junior wide receiver Dalton Hurd picked up a nomination for Tulsa World Player of the Week again. Hurd had four receiving touchdowns and two punt return scores in last Friday’s blowout. Hurd was also nominated back in week three. You can vote for Hurd here.
Another Osage County squad, Barnsdall remains at No. 9 in the Class B eight-man rankings. The Panthers topped Drumright 64-18 last week. Barnsdall has been featured in the rankings every week since reclassifying as an eight-man squad.
