The Bartlesville Police Department reported about a dozen car break-ins  over the weekend through Monday morning.

Appearing on COMMUNITY CONNECTION, Assistant Police Chief Rocky Bevard says the southeast part of Bartlesville was the target this time. He says the area from Madison Boulevard to US Highway 75 and from Nowata Road to Price Road was the hardest hit with at least one other incident in the Hilcrest Subdivision.

According to Bevard, everything from wallets and credit cards to cell phones and firearms were taken from the vehicles and adding that there was one car that was also stolen.

Bartlesville Police is asking residents to remove your valuables from your vehicle and lock it up.  If you have any home surveilence video that you think could be helpful, you are asked to contact BPD at 918-338-4001.
