WCHD Changes Time for COVID-19 Testing for Kids

The Washington County Health Department has changed the time they will be offering COVID testing for children ages 12 and under.

Starting on Friday children can come from 10:30 to 10:45 a.m. to receive COVID testing. This time frame is for any day the department is doing drive-thru COVID testing.

If a child is in the car and would like to receive a COVID test, parents still need to drive to the front of the Washington County Health Department to inform them that their child would like a test. Parents will then be directed to park and take their child inside to get tested. The WCHD is located at 5121 Jacquelyn Lane.

A doctor’s note is not needed for a child to receive a COVID test, but a parent must be present. A note from a parent for someone else to bring them is not accepted, the parent/guardian must be present.

If there are any questions or concerns please feel free to contact the health department. Call 918.335.3005.
