Council to Consider Lease, Resource Officer Agreement
During the Dewey City Council meeting on Monday night, the Council will discuss and possibly vote to approve the lease of 530 S. Osage Avenue in Dewey.
The Council will also discuss and possibly approve the School Resource Officer agreement for the 2020-2021 Fiscal Year between Dewey Public Schools and the City of Dewey.
A public hearing will be held as well. The hearing regards a variance request to allow a six-foot chain-link fence with a 25-foot gate to be located within the front set-back at 427 S. Osage Avenue. Once the hearing closes, the Dewey City Council may approve an ordinance to re-zone 421 S. Osage Avenue from a Commercial Highway to a Commercial General.
From there, the Council may approve an ordinance to rezone 330 Bartles Road from a Commercial Neighborhood to an M-1 Limited Industrial. Then, the Council may approve a resolution to amend the fiscal year 2020-2021 Fiscal Year Budget.
The Dewey City Council will meet at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall located at 411 E Don Tyler Avenue.
