Bartlesville’s National Day of Prayer committee encourages everyone to participate in the March for Jesus on Saturday, May 30th.

March for Jesus is a national Praise Walking event that unites the entire body of Christ in cities across the nation for one purpose:  to worship Jesus, glorify Christ and pray for the community.  He deserves to receive extravagant praise in full public view as a living testimony from a living church to a living God.  Lavishing love on Jesus is the agenda.  The March creates an atmosphere for evangelism, prayer efforts, and reconciliation, because Jesus is the primary focus.

Since COVID-19 has brought different kinds of restrictions discouraging mass gatherings, plans have been modified for the May 30th Praise Walk.  Instead of large processions, participants are encouraged to meet in smaller groups, with those you have quarantined with, many as small as two or three, to scatter throughout our community praising and praying as you walk, drive or even stand in your home or front yards.

The Praise Walk, March for Jesus, highlights praise and thanksgiving, but also encourages participants to pray for Christ’s blessing upon people, families, schools, businesses and government leaders.  Noontime is suggested, but anytime is encouraged.

A two-page Praise Talk guide is available at bartlesvilleradio.com under the Pray for our City tab or at TheMarchForJesus.org .

“That at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father,” – Philippians 2:10-11
