Washington County Sheriff Scott Owen informed the County Commissioners Monday that a lightning bolt may have struck the Sheriff's Office over the weekend.

Several controllers are down as a result of that potential strike. The Commissioners advised Sheriff Owen to get a claim so the Commissioners could get with the Association of County Commissioners of Oklahoma.

The claim is taken care of, and the Sheriff's Office is still looking into the fixture of the controllers and what may have caused them to shut down.

We will have more on this story when it becomes available.
