A Bartlesville picked up his fourth violent charge since 2018 on Monday. Matthew Rice appeared at the Washington County Courthouse on Tuesday facing charges of domestic abuse.

Police details on the incident are vague. However, an affidavit alleges that a female victim was struck by Rice causing her a bodily injury. Rice has now been charged in three separate domestic abuse incidents since 2018. Rice also entered a guilty plea in a 2018 assault and battery case.

Bond for Rice was set at $5,000. He is due back in court on May 29.
