A Washington County Mental Health Court contract labor agreement was discussed on Monday.

The labor agreement, approved by the Washington County Commissioners, is with contractor Fries and Fries, P.C., Robert Fries.

Chairman Mitch Antle said he does not know why the contract was necessary but District Judge Linda Thomas felt that it was.

According to Antle, Judge Thomas has not called about the contract at all. He said there has not been a similar contract with Grand Lake Mental Health who provides the oversight for the Mental Health Court.$4,100 of the $6,100 goes through someone with Grand Lake Mental Health to coordinate and facilitate the court.

Chairman Antle said he does not know why the Mental Health Court could not pay directly for the services.

The contract with Fries and Fries, P.C. Robert Fries lasts from January 1st, 2019 to June 30th and costs about $750 per month.
