The Dewey City Council will discuss and possibly take action to approve an ordinance to amend a section of public safety in the City’s Code of Ordinances. If approved, an Emergency Clause will be requested.

Also in the Monday, April 1st meeting, the Council may take action to approve an ordinance to close a portion of vacated Third Street. This is all in Block 187 of the vacated Ida. F. Gibson addition to Dewey. If passed, this would authorize Mayor Tom Hays to sign consent and disclaimer relating to the matter.

Monday’s meeting will start at 7:00 p.m. in Dewey City Hall. The Dewey Public Works Authority meeting will follow immediately after.
