Bartlesville's Mayor Dale Copeland shared good news Tuesday afternoon. Copeland said volunteer positions in City authorities, boards, commissions and committees are taken.

Copeland  said people do roll out of those positions over time because they are only set for a specific amount of time. He said those that have come together are 250 strong and are giving themselves to the communtiny to make it a better place.

With that in mind, Copeland and the City of Bartlesville encourages people to keep submitting applications to be on City authorities, board, commissions and committees. It may not happen next week or next month, but Copeland said openings will come again. He said volunteer and help the City of Bartlesville in any way you can.
