Instructions on how to take a recycling survey will be in your next utility bill. The City of Bartlesville has been wondering where people may stand with recycling and this survey is their way of gauging interest.

Ward 2 City Councilman Paul Stuart advocated for this in his recent campaign and says this survey will help Bartlesville determine what services, if any, could be implemented. Part of the survey will ask how much you will be willing to pay for recycling services. Hypothetically speaking, if you were looking to pay 5 dollars for services but the City needed 8 to 10 dollars, the services may not be possible, Stuart says.

Survey Monkey is a service that has been used by the City of Bartlesville before and it will be used for the online recycling survey. Stuart says people will only be able to take the service once on one device so they do not have people “stuffing the ballot box.”
