The Bartlesville Civitan Club will hold its 6th Annual Paddle Party Quarter Auction in Bartlesville Saturday.

Club President Tony Harjo says a Paddle Party is a fun game of chance and all you have to do is bring a role of quarters or ask for quarters at the event to join the fun. She says if and when you attend the event and see an item you like, you will put a quarter into a bowl at your table. They will then call out a number. If no one raises their paddle (which can be purchased at the door), they will call another number. She says they do that three times for an item, and if a paddle is not raised, the auction the item off. It's a great way to possibly win an item for a quarter, Harjo says.

All Civitan members have created baskets for the event that you can win. Harjo adds that some area restaurants and businesses have also donated baskets for the annual Paddle Party Quarter Auction. Paddles for the event cost $5 at the door. This big fundraiser is open to everyone in the public and the funds will benefit the Bartlesville Civitan Club's focus to help persons with development disabilities.

The Saturday, March 9th Paddle Party Quarter Auction will take place in the Haskell Event Center located at 115 SE Frank Phillips Blvd. It will start at 7 p.m.
