OSU Buffalo at Library to Receive Free Fixtures

Library Director Shellie McGill says the Oklahoma State University buffalo currently housed at the Bartlesville Public Library will undergo a rehabilitation soon after a previous attempt failed. At first McGill thought the buffalo was being vandalized but she says that that is not the case. The paint that was used to rehab the buffalo last hasn't been able to withstand the elements.

However, McGill says someone has thankfully stepped up to revive the buffalo at no cost to the City. Gary Long at C&M Collision Repair Center will work on the project. She says he didn't have to do the project but she gives him big props for taking this big project on. If Long didn't decide to work on the project, McGill believes that the buffalo would've been lost forever to the weather.

McGill said all they have to do is pick up the buffalo when the rehab effort is complete. She said the buffalo will likely be taken to C&M Collision Repair Center sometime in March.
