Oklahoma's School Superintendent, Joy Hofmeister spent the day in Bartlesville Friday.  She took time to talk about a new 8-year plan to improve education.  Hofmeister says schools will work to give graduates a competitive edge, so the plan is called the Oklahoma Edge.

Hofmeister says schools will redefine the senior year so that students will be able to take the ACT or SAT at their school at no charge.  She says only half of Oklahoma students go on to post secondary education and that has to change.
