Interim City Manager Hired in Pawhuska

This week the Pawhuska City Council hired an Interim City Manager at their third special meeting for the moth of October. Larry Eulert was hired on a temporary basis to fill the City Manager position left vacant by the resigning of Mike McCartney. Eulert formerly working for the City of Hominy and will fill the position for at least 60 days or until the City Manager position is permanently filled. Eulert will begin on Monday November 6, and will be present for the next City Council meeting Tuesday November 7.

 

Also discussed and approved during the special meeting was the accepting of bids for the indoor pool's new dehumidifier. The Pawhuska indoor pool has been down for more than a month and Ernest Heating and Air was appraising and accepting bids to bring before the City Council, they will also be responsible for installation of the new system. The dehumidifier is also the pools pump, water heater, room heater and air conditioner. DCA, Dehumidifier Corporation of America, was the selected bid at $39,630 to create the custom piece of equipment, once built Ernest Heating and Air Conditioning will install the new system. The pool is expected to be closed for a few more months.
