Beef Producers Vote on State Checkoff
Charlie Taraboletti
Cattle owners are voting across Oklahoma on a beef check-off program. Matt Boyer of Langley is on the Oklahoma Beef Council. He says a state check-off is important for beef producers in the state.
Boyer goes on to say you can request a ballot to mail in or just go to your county extension office.
The election is open to beef producers of all ages, including those who are under traditional voting age.
The Oklahoma check-off would give beef producers in the state a funding source they can control.
