State Senator Julie Daniels has expressed her displeasure on the special budget proposal that was released yesterday. Senator Daniels believes that the true solution to in this budget shortfall lies in reform and not increasing taxes for Oklahomans.

Senator Daniels believes that smart budgeting tactics need to be employed before any real change can occur.

This proposal will be voted on tomorrow and Daniels believes that it will take voting outside party lines for the proposal pass, which is no guarantee. If the proposal does not receive the necessary 75% of the vote Daniels will continue to push for reform.

Daniels says trying to enable reform is a difficult task but she will remain committed to fighting in her first legislative session.
