The Bartlesville Redevelopment Trust Authority held their regular monthly meeting Monday afternoon, and while the majority of the meeting was administrative, in the end it was bittersweet. The BRTA welcomed newly appointed members Bill Covell and David Nelson, who are taking the positions left vacant by former BRTA President Pat Moore and member Sara McGee.

While the board welcomed two new members they also accepted the resignation of longtime board member and former Secretary Carla Cherry. Cherry chose to resign after six years on the BRTA board, and in her resignation letter she felt it was time to move on and make room for new members. Cherry's position is now available for applications from the public.

The remainder of the BRTA meeting was used for Chris Wilson's Executive Director Report and to extend the Financial Assistance Program for Bartlesville's TIFs 1 and 2. The Bartlesville Redevelopment Trust Authority will meet again November 14, rather than the 21 due to the Thanksgiving Holiday.
