Bluestem Foundation Invites You to Glitz Event

The Bluestem Medical Foundation will harken back to the 1980s for its 26th-annual fundraising dinner and live auction later this month. The decade of MTV, Michael Jackson, parachute pants, big hair, and video games will be featured during the annual "Glitz" event on Friday night, September 16th at 6:30 at Hillcrest Country Club. The Foundation hosts the fund raiser to supports its mission of providing continuing education and training for the Jane Phillips Medical Center staff.

Bluestem Foundation Executive Director, Mike Wilt says they are proud to have one of the longest-running charitable events in the area.   JPMC has benefited from the proceeds of the Glitz events for more than a quarter century.

Items up for the live auction include concert ticket packages for Billy Joel at the BOK Center on November 11th and for Toby Keith October 14th, a two-night stay at a luxury Payne Stewart Branson Hills condo, a Pioneer Woman Ree Drummond Williams Sonoma basket, a McCoy Jewelers & Fusion Massage package, personalized catering for six by Aunt Pearl (a.k.a Joe Sears), a Las Vegas getaway, and a portrait and sitting by Lehmer Photography, just to name a few.

There will be a companion Glitz Open Golf Tournament at Adams Golf Course on Thursday, September 22nd.
