There are now two contested races for seats on the Bartlesville City Council.   Joel Rabin and Alan Gentges filed for the vacant Ward Four seat on the council on the first day of the filing period.  Bartlesville businessman, Jim Curd filed for election for the ward three seat, opposing incumbent Tom Gorman.

Incumbent councilmen, Dale Copeland, John J. Kane, and Dr. Joseph Callahan will not face opposition.

New ward boundaries went into effect earlier this month, moving Copand’s home into the new ward one.
