A funeral was held this week for a 21-year-old Dennis, Kansas, man who died in 1941.  Seaman 2nd Class Dale F. Pearce was killed in action on December 7, 1941, while serving on the U.S.S Oklahoma in Pearl Harbor. 

Pearce’s remains were recently identified and arrived Monday afternoon at Tulsa International Airport.  The funeral procession traveled to the Carson-Wall Funeral Home in Parsons.  A memorial service will be held on Thursday at Faith United Methodist Church in Parsons
