Nowata Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting grand opening ceremony Thursday at the new Loves Travel Stops and Country Stores on U.S. Highway 169 just north of Nowata.  Loves General Manager Kyle Fricke said he's happy being in Nowata.

During the ceremony, Loves donated $2,000 to the Boys and Girls Club of Nowata.  Executive Director of the Boys and Girls Club Treasure Standeford said she appreciates the donation.

Loves in Nowata is a 24-hour, 5,000 square foot facility that includes a Subway, gourmet coffee, fresh fruit, gift merchandise, name-brand electronics, and more.  Truck drivers can take advantage of two showers and 38 truck-parking spaces.  Loves is based out of Oklahoma City.
