School Board elections took place across the state of Oklahoma on Tuesday.  Propositions were on the ballot in two local communities.  In Washington County, there was only one contested race and that is for Office Number 1 in the Caney Valley School District.  The winner is Clay Ullrich, with 129 votes in Washington County and no votes in Osage County.  The opponent, Andy Young, received 89 votes and 3 votes in Osage County.

There were a few other races in Osage County on Tuesday.  The final results for Office Number 1 in the Pawhuska School Board race ended with Mike Tolson receiving 333 votes to 67 for Jeffery Swan.

A proposition in Skiatook to add 1/2 cent sales tax to the regular city tax for road repairs was approved with YES votes totaling 177. NO votes added up to 97.  It is expected to bring in approximately $500,000 annually.
