Artherton Faces Robbery Charge
A Bartlesville man who is facing grand larceny and bail jumping charges now has a new charge. Tyler Joe Artherton is charged with second degree robbery.
According to a court affidavit, Bartlesville police were called to 18th and Santa Fe to investigate a possible robbery. An I-cab driver told the police that she picked up Artherton from a motel, drove him to a house on Woodrow Avenue. Artherton reportedly didn't know the address and kept giving the cab driver more confusing directions. Artherton told the woman to pull into a driveway in the 400 block of West 18th Street. The affidavit states Artherton took a money bag and ran off. The victim identified Artherton as the one who took the money bag.
Artherton's next court date is November 20th. He remains in jail on a $600,000 bond.
