Music from movies will open the season for the Bartlesville Symphony Orchestra. Some of the movies to listen for the Saturday include Jaws, Hook, Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean and Frozen. Prior to the program, at 7 P..M., Maestro Lauren Green will talk about how music fits into a film score. General Manager D'Lynn Everett encourages concert-goers to dress as their favorite movie characters.

The season opener for the Bartlesville Symphony Orchestra is this Saturday, October 10, with the concert getting underway at 7:30 P.M. but get there a bit early to be part of the costume contest and to hear Maestro Green talk about the music. Find more information at
