Nowata Golf Heads to 2A State Tournament
Nowata Ironmen golf is going into the 2A state tournament Monday at KickingBird Golf Course in Edmond.
After only qualifying one golfer last year in Jackson Hurd, Nowata qualified the whole team this year. The Ironmen finished second in their regional in Seminole in late April.
The Ironmen will have a busy two days ahead of them to play 72 holes. Each team will play 36 holes Monday and the final 18 Tuesday.
The 2A state tournament tees off at 8 a.m. Nowata will tee off for the first time at 8:20 a.m.
