Caney Valley (OK) Powerlifting Near End of Season

Caney Valley (OK) Trojan powerlifting is into their biggest time of the year with state meets either in the rearview or upcoming.
 
On the girl's side, Caney Valley competed in the state powerlifting meet in Durant on Monday. Three girls, Addison Daniel, Mia Malone and Alison Cheney qualified for state.
 
Head coach Derrick Hammer talks about the growth of the girls team.
 
Cheney finished 14th in the 113-pound weight division. Malone was the state runner-up in the 155-pound weight division and Daniel finished third in the 181-pound weight division.
 
On the boys side, the Trojans are gearing up for their regional in Hilldale on Friday.
 
Five athletes will head to the regional meet. Skylar Speece, Ivan Roman Rivera, Keegan Sanders, Sam Pitts and Kaleb Hall.
 
Hammer talks about a young boys team.
 
Should Caney Valley have an athlete qualify for the state meet, they would head to El Reno on March 14.
