Bartlesville High softball and volleyball wrapped up their seasons last week, we will recap both those campaigns this week at BartlesvilleRadio.com

The Lady Bruin volleyball team again won 20 games and made it to the finals of their 6A Regional, and although a State tournament berth has evaded them, Bartlesville has continued to show stability as one of the top programs on this side of the State.

BHS beat Southmoore then fell to Bixby in the Regional last week. After a 3-0 sweep of a good Sabercat club, Bixby topped the Bruins 3-0.

Head coach Andrew Blain talks about the gameplan and what happened in the Regional title game against the Spartans.

Bartlesville will graduate nine seniors off this year’s team, an abnormally large number for a group that was relatively unproven at the varsity level entering the season.

BHS reloaded quickly, rising to a top 10 ranking statewide before a late skid held Bartlesville out of hosting a Regional.

Blain talks about the season in total this fall.

The Lady Bruins will again have a large senior class next year and a bigger sophomore class ready to take the reins.

Bartlesville volleyball has won 50 games during the first two seasons Blain has been leading the program.
