Dewey Volleyball Punches Ticket to State Tournament

Dewey Lady Bulldogger volleyball punched their ticket to the state tournament on Thursday night, escaping through their six team regional.
 
The Lady Bulldoggers went 2-0 in their home regional, officially clinching a spot in the state tournament after a dramatic comeback win over Corn Bible Academy in five sets.
 
Dewey dropped the first two sets of the regional final before winning the next three to win the match.
 
Head coach Hayley Harris talked about the comeback.
 
Dewey heads into the state tournament as the eighth overall seed in 3A, and will meet the top seed in the state in Metro Christian. Metro is 28-2 this season and beat Daniel Webster and Summit Christian to punch their ticket.
 
Harris talked about the journey to get to this point.
 
This is Dewey's first trip to the state tournament in program history.
 
The 3A state tournament will take place in the OKC metro starting on Oct. 16.
