Bartlesville Softball Hosts Regional Wednesday

Big day for Bartlesville High softball, as BHS will host a 6A Regional for the first time in more than a decade in fast pitch starting on Wednesday.
We have features earlier this week on how Bartlesville finished the season strong at 25-11 and a second-place finish in its 6A District to host.
Head coach Kyle Minton says it was consistency from the lineup that put BHS over the top down the stretch. The Lady Bruins have won 12 of their last 14 entering the postseason. Bartlesville battled through some injuries early on, but since being healthy the offense has moved forward.
Minton talks about the progression of the season.
As far as the Regional today, Enid likely presents the biggest challenge. The Pacers are 1-0 against Bartlesville this season, logging a 2-1 win all the way back on August 15. Enid is 30-6 overall.
Up first, Putnam City North. Bartlesville did not face them throughout the regular season. Minton talks about the Lady Bruin’s first round opponent.
Bartlesville and PC North will kick off the Regional at noon. Enid and Sapulpa face each other at 2:00. Loser’s play in an elimination game at 4:00, with a winner’s bracket game to follow at 6:00.
