At Copan, the Hornets are going through a weird quirk in their schedule. Copan is coming off a 46-0 run-rule win over South Coffeyville this past Friday.

The Hornets have their scheduled bye week this Friday, then a scheduled game with Wesleyan Chrisitan School.

As KWON reported about six weeks ago, WCS does not have a football team this fall. So, Copan has two off weeks in a row on the schedule for now.  

As for the South Coffeyville game last Friday, a big play from Shooter Brewington set the tone to start things off.

Copan has stayed healthy for the most part this fall. Kallenberger says he plans on using the down time to rest some guys, do some conditioning, then start game preparation for Gans on October 18.

Kallenberger also mentioned he would like to add a game on Oct. 11 but has not been able to get a home one on the schedule to this point.
