Bruins Hope for WR and RB Depth

One day from some scrimmage action in high school football across Northeast Oklahoma.
Bartlesville High will travel to Tulsa for a scrimmage against Bishop Kelley on Friday evening. The Bruins will have all levels of their football program in action, from junior high up to the varsity guys.
BHS had practice number seven last night at Custer Stadium. With school in session practices are running mostly in the heat of the afternoon, from 2:30-5:30.
Even with the core of the program as sophomores in their second season playing varsity football, there will be some older guys coming onto the scene for the first time this fall. We’ve mentioned veteran running back Sutton Williams, but there are some other impressive options behind Williams, too.
Bartlesville head coach Harry Wright talks about the tailback spot.
Another name to watch at wide receiver will be Harrison Ketchum. Ketchum impressed toward the end of last season. He has looked great in practice and was a standout at the intersquad scrimmage this past Friday, as well.
Wright talks about Ketchum’s progression.
The wide receiver position will be one of the most unproven going into the fall, with the graduation of Damien Niko and the summer injury to EJ Belisle.
KWON will be in Tulsa on Thhursday night and will have a recap of the scrimmage on Friday morning.
