We are almost exactly a week into practices statewide in college football, as OU, Oklahoma State and Tulsa all try to make some headway in the next three weeks before game action begins.

OU was somewhat plagued by injuries a season ago in a disappointing 6-7 season. Oklahoma lost to Navy in its bowl game for its second season under .500 in the past three years under Brent Venables.

Venables talks about how he and the Sooner staff looks at physicality when practicing during August.
