Season in Review: Doenges Toyota Indians

Doenges Toyota Indians baseball wrapped up last weekend in Ada, and with the season over, we continue to look back at the summer the Tribe had.
The Indians finished one of their busiest summers in the last decade with an overall record of 24-26. The Indians played 50 games in 59 days.
With lots of games in a short amount of time, manager John Pannell said the season comes and goes fast.
What started off slow this summer turned around quickly for the Indians. In the month of June alone, the Indians went 12-17, directly after going 0-4 in the month of May. Once the calendar flipped to July, the Indians got hot, winning eight straight games en route to a Glen Winget Tournament championship.
The Indians went 12-5 in the month of July.
Pannell talked about how much his group came together this summer.
We will continue to recap the summer for the Indians throughout this week.
