There is a Bartlesville tie-in to the search for the next University of Oklahoma Athletic Director.

Hollye Hunt, who is the current Oklahoma Vice President of Executive Affairs and Chief of Staff, will serve on a 12-person committee to look for Joe Castiglione’s replacement.

A couple weeks ago Castiglione announced his intention to retire from his post in 2028. He came to Norman in 1998 and will serve on an advisory role throughout the search.

The 12-person committee will include Hunt, former head football coach Bob Stoops, former women’s basketball coach Sherri Coale, former OU quarterback Sam Bradford and others.

The committee was announced on Monday afternoon. 

Hunt is Earl Sears’ daughter and was OU’s Chief Government Affairs Officer since 2021before serving in her current role since October of last year.
