In more summer baseball news, Bartlesville’s manager took home an award over the weekend.

Indian’s head man John Pannell, who is in his 14^th season running the program, won the DBAT League and Stan Musial World Series Sportsmanship award over the weekend.

Pannell was honored during the title game of the World Series on Saturday.

He says it has more to do with the team than with him, and that the Indians are not done yet.

Pannell is 13 wins shy of 400 for his career and is the second-winningest manager in Indians history.
