Thunder Fans Get Renderings of New Arena

Coming off of an NBA title, Oklahoma City Mayor David Holt held a press conference on Wednesday and released renderings of what the new arena will look like for the home of the Thunder. He said in terms of square footage, the Paycom Center is the smallest gymnasium in the NBA. Therefore, it isn’t neccesarily about getting more seats as much as it is getting more space in the concourse areas.
Holt said seating capacity won’t change for concerts and there won’t be a major change in the number of seats for Thunder games, citing it will be a great fan experience and should be even louder with the fans being even closer to the court.
