Glow Bingo to Benefit The Boys & Girls Club of Bartlesville and Dewey

Tom Davis
The Boys and Girls Clubs of Bartlesville and Dewey are hosting a unique fundraiser this weekend with Glow Bingo. The event that was inspired by board member Cory Snelson’s idea, will take place Saturday, July 12, at the Washington County Fairgrounds. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and games begin at 6:00 p.m.
Appearing on COMMUNITY CONNECTION, Boys and Girls Club Developmeent Director Beth Beard and Boys and Girls Club Board Member and Arvest Private Banking Advisor Cory Snelson encouraged everyone attending to wear neon clothing and bring glow sticks as the lights will be turned down for a fun, glowing twist on traditional bingo. Food will be available, and both door tickets and online pre-registration options are available. Proceeds support programming at both club locations, which served over 600 youth this summer through sports, STEM education, and enrichment programs like cooking, smart girls, and flag football, which now includes an all-girls league.
The event is sponsored by Arvest Bank and will feature 50/50 mini games with cash prizes. For more information and to register for upcoming school-year programs, families can follow the Boys and Girls Club on Facebook starting next week.
