One more day until summer baseball returns to Bartlesville.

The Doenges Toyota Indians head to Mountain Home, Arkansas for at least three games over four days.

The Indians will leave for the event on Wednesday. This is the fifth straight summer the Tribe has made the trip to the Twin Lakes Classic.

It is about a 4.5-hour drive to North Central Arkansas.

Bartlesville competed better against younger competition this past weekend in Branson. The Indians won their first three games and pool during the College of the Ozarks Showcase event. Pitching wore a bit thin toward the end, but the bats stayed consistently better.

Manager John Pannell says trips like this one is one of the reasons summer baseball remains vibrant in Bartlesville.

Bartlesville qualified for the semifinals of this tournament last year before losing to a team out of Mississippi.
