Walking Area Renamed Beeman Parkway

At Monday evening's city council meeting in Bartlesville, action was taken to rename a section of the internal parkway at Lee Lake to, "Lisa Beeman Parkway." Beeman was the former Community Development Director for the City of Bartlesville and Mayor Jim Curd says he is proud to call her a friend.
Larry Curtis took over for Beeman after she stepped away. To this day, Curtis says if somebody has trouble remembering who Curtis is, he traces his steps back to Beeman.
Beeman worked for the City of Bartlesville for 30 years. She retired in 2022.
