Bartlesville Man Charged With Domestic Assault

A Bartlesville man is facing a misdemeanor charge after allegedly assaulting someone.
39-year-old Rafael Almendarez was charged on Monday with domestic assault and battery.
According to the Bartlesville Police Department, on May 1, Almendarez allegedly got into an argument with the victim and punched the victim in the face multiple times. The victim was allegedly bleeding from the left ear.
Almendarez has an extensive criminal past with multiple felony convictions between 2004 and 2021.
A warrant was issued for Almendarez's arrest on May 9.
Almendarez will appear in court again on Aug. 6 at 1:30 p.m. He posted his bond.
